This looks like a normal mirror operation for me, unless I'm misunderstanding. If you select the line as mirror, it will set that as mirror plane.Â
Can you please confirm how exactly you would like to have the mirror operation to work?Â

The functioning of the mirror works, but when I select the box does not come out as in the attached video to understand what I select , the selection square does not come out
