Buckling with multiples loads

      Hello,

      I am designing a shock absorber and I want to do the buckling analysis using FEM. In the image you can see the shock absorber with two sections joined together with a joint (fixed) and two ball joints at the ends also joined with a fixed joint each.

      The idea is to check the buckling exactly at the moment of impact. At this instant, you would have the force of the impact (F) and a moment in each ball joint related to that force (M=0.2*r*F where r is the radius of the kneecap).

      Other times I have performed linear buckling analyzes setting F=-1 N, thus making the Load Multiplier the maximum buckling load. However, I don't know how to do this with the Force and the two moment on the ball joints. I want to do that with the Eigenvalue Buckling. How could I do it?

      Try Nonlinear buckling to capture complex buckling response due to multiple loads.
