Hi
As far as I can see one can not run a linear buckling analysiss – workbench mechanical can be used for that. See course below

All the best

Hi
Actually I got this answer from Ansys GPT but could non find it in discovery
Yes, you can perform buckling analysis with Ansys Discovery. The software has been enhanced to include a new structural capability for linear buckling analysis, which allows you to evaluate the structural stability of structures. This feature is part of the updates in Ansys 2019 R3 for Discovery AIM [1]. URL: [1]Â https://www.ansys.com/resource-center/webinar/r3-discovery-live-aim

Hello Luca,Â
Thanks for your reply. Buckling analysis is not yet possible in Discovery. The team has this enhancement noted and might be available in future releases.Â
Ansys GPT answer is from Discovery AIM which is a legacy product and not available to use. Â
Regards,
DevendraÂ
