Brewster’s law

In this post, we will study Brewster’s law that predicts the reflected light of an unpolarized light is polarized (to be more precise is s-polarized). This angle is defined by the Fresnel equation:nϴ=arctan(n2/n1)nwhere n1and n2 are the refractive indices of the initial and the second media, respectively. From the theory, we expect a zero reflection for the p-polarized light at ϴ~56 degrees.nWe can use the stackrt to obtain the reflection in terms of the incident angle.nWe can see that the reflection at 56 degree is indeed zero for the p-polarized light.n
