Hi everyone, I'm striking a rigid wall. LS-Dyna Workbench.
The impact is on the bolts. The bolt and nut have bonded contact. But when the impact occurs, the bolt slips through the nut.

      I'm also getting penetration messages:

23098 initial penetrations were found for interface        763
57 initial penetrations were found for interface        646
70 initial penetrations were found for interface        649

      Hello Javat,

There may be a gap or initial penetration between the contacting bodies, which could be contributing to bonded contact issue.

Please use the MPC formulation for bonded contacts instead of the programmed control or penalty-based formulation, as it provides a prope constraint definition.

Regarding the initial penetration, kindly review your model carefully and check for any such issues. A small amount of penetration may be acceptable; however, if it is significant, it should be corrected by modifying the geometry.

      Regards,

      Raman Babu
