Bolt Connection

      Hi! Everyone.

I'm looking in bolted connections these days. I have a connection of tube steel column and I section beam. The beam is loaded by displacement from its right end, but no stress occurs on the bolts. My contacts are as follows:

Beam and plate are bonded to column, plate and bolts-friction , nuts and beam-friction, nuts and bolts-bonded. Plate and Beam-friction.

A bit hard to tell from your images, but if the beam is bonded to the column and the load is applied to the beam, then no forces will go through the bolts, right?

      Fixed: weld-column and weld-beam bonded
