Bearing Contact

Hi, i am studying the bending of a shaft. There is bearign contact at two faces but i am really unsure how do i start with? regarding this bearing contact that i explored. Is it possible those bearing support as fixed support?

      Don't use a Fixed Support.

Do you have the stiffness data for the bearing from the manufacturer? If so you can under the stiffness values into this Bearing support. The rotation plane is a plane perpendicular to the axis of rotation.

Please reply with the full picture. How long is the shaft compared with the width of the two bearings?  Are the bearings a single row of balls or are the bearings double row that has some stiffness to resist bending?

From the drawing i got. it is NKIB 5902 https://www.skf.com/group/products/rolling-bearings/roller-bearings/needle-roller-bearings/combined-needle-roller-bearings/productid-NKIB%205902

i couldn't find those stiffness value as required in ansys.

The closest i came to was basic load rating and fatigue load limit. https://www.skf.com/group/products/rolling-bearings/roller-bearings/needle-roller-bearings/combined-needle-roller-bearings#cid-490509

The whole shaft is 154.2mm long. 2 bearings will be required which is around 20mm long and will be fitted just beside the biggest diameter shaft
