SubscriberHello,Â
I am running into an issue when trying to run jobs via batch processing on a computing node. I generate the cas and dat files on a separate computer then upload the jobs to a computing node at my university. When the job tries to autosave, it tries to use the file path on the original computer that it was created on rather than the pwd of the computing node and thus I am not able to get any new dat files.
I'm setting up the simulation on Ansys Workbench which seems to fix the path. I've done some browsing online and it seems like I should be able to set a new file path in the journal file using - /file/autosave/root-name "string-path" - but the root-name command is not working and doesn't seem to be available. I'm wondering if this is because it is set by Workbench rather than Fluent?
Please let me know if you have any suggestions on how to obtain the proper file path so that I can get some data.
Thanks!
Taylor

Ansys Employeeopen case and data file in standalone fluent.Â
you can change the path in gui with solution - activities - autosave.Â
once you change the path here, please save case and data files and then run.Â
