If the solid region is the solid material, I expect you need another solid body to represent the fluid region. What is the outer shape of the fluid region? In SpaceClaim, use the Enclosure tool on the Prepare tab to enclose the solid region body with a fluid body with a box, cylinder or sphere outer shape. For other outer fluid shapes, you would construct that first, then use a Combine, Subtract operation to make the inner shape of the fluid region by subtracting the solid region from the fluid region.
