Auto assign materials after import GDS into HFSS

  After I import GDS file into HFSS 3D model editor, is there a way to auto assign materials to the objects? For example, assign based on the layer number?

  Yes, there is. When importing the GDS file, click on the Import control file at the upper left corner and choose the technology file that can be in .xml, .tech or .layermap. Please let us know if you still have further questions!

  I don't see the same window.
  I select Modeler-> Import...
  I get this window, is that right?

  No, you do File-->import-->GDSII to choose a .gds file and then in the next window, choose import control file.
