Subscriberhello all,
i have a requirement wherein i am supposed to plot the magnetic field of a permanent magnet as it moves over a defined trajectory over a certain plane. this task corresponds to a hall sensor sensing setup. i have the step file with the setup and the magnet dimensions. material i can propose. how to accomplish this?
Thank you for any pointers. -

Ansys EmployeeHello,
You could import the step file into magnetostatic design, and then parametize its position, use parametric to sweep all the position on the trajectory.
