SubscriberHello Everyone,
I am trying to include a certain Material model into the simulation that is not supported in the GUI pre processor, so i added a command snippet and pasted the material values in there but im getting a general Error.Â
The software is still asking to add the material from Ansys library itself.
Any Advice ?
Thanks in advance
Best Wishes Akhil

Ansys EmployeeHello Akhil,
What error message are you getting? Can you post a screenshot here?
Also, which version of Ansys Workbench are you using?
You should be able to add a command snippet at the geometry level (under a specify body) to use any material model you want (*MAT_). Here is an example with *MAT_001:

Let me know how it goes.

Ansys EmployeeHallo Akhil,
Ok, sounds good. Yes, units for the command snippet have to be the same as the selected solver units in "Analysis Settings".
Also, if you encounter an issue, the error message should be printed in the solver output.
