      Hello!

I am studying mechanical engineering and own a MacBook Pro M1 from 2021. Due to I have to work with Ansys now, I want to download the Student Software. I know, Ansys only runs on Windows, and because Windows does not run on the M1 processor, I can't fix this problem with bootcamp, so that I want want use the software of Parallels (Virtual machine for windows).

Does anyone got experience with Ansys running on Windows with Parallels and eventually knows if it works?

      Best Regards

Ansys Products work on VM Machines. But, we do not have experience with Parallels.
The following page lists the VM that are supported.

That being said, what is the error that you are running into?

A bit late, but it may help others. I am also using a MacBook Pro 16 (M1 Max with 64Gb of RAM) through Parallels. It works well but occasionally gives a few weird errors but I get that on my windows machine as well.
