SubscriberI have designed a soft electromagnetic actuator using Ansys Maxwell 3D module on Ansys Electronics Desktop. I want to perform a mechanical simulation of the same setup on Ansys Mechanical. How can I transfer this entire setup (including magnetic field, current excitations, and resultant volume-force fields) to Ansys Mechanical for stress analysis?

Ansys EmployeeHi, magnetic field and current excitations will not be transferred through the link, but force and loss data can be linked from Maxwell to Ansys Mechanical. In order to linking force and loss data, you will need use Ansys Workbench to couple Maxwell and Ansys Mechanical. -

SubscriberYes, I think the Force distribution would be good enough for me to find the stress, strain and deformations of the actuator. Could you please be more elaborate about the process of how it can be done in workbench?
