Ansys Maxwell 2D Lamination Model Error

I am trying to simulate an inductor with a wound core in 2D XY. I have modeled the core geometry using semi circles and straight sections. The material is definited using a nonlinear BH curve for Metglas, a resistivity, and it is set to a Lamination composition with a stacking factor of 0.82. I made two copies of the material, one has a stacking direction of V(1) using Cartesian coordinates, and the other has a stacking direction of V(1) in cylindrical coordinates. I also disabled eddy currents in the core regions.

When I start the EddyCurrent solver I get the following message, "Lamination is not supported in Eddy current solver now. The lamination will be treated as solid material."

I am running 2024 R2. From what I find online the 2D Eddy current solver should work using laminated materials.

      Any ideas?
