We have an exciting announcement about badges coming in May 2025. Until then, we will temporarily stop issuing new badges for course completions and certifications. However, all completions will be recorded and fulfilled after May 2025.

ANSYS FSI, unit and average wind on specific surface

Hello i'm solving two way FSI simulation and i got two questions as follows

      1. I displayed the nodal_displacement[z] by calculate the coordinate[z]+displacemnet_NV[Z} on system coupling result in ANSYS Ensight. I made the geometry by the spaceclaim and below image is about the result, however, the displacement (which is equal to coordinate[z]+displacement[z]) don't denotes the unit (such as meter or centimeter or something). how can i know the unit ? i already try to use the UNIT option but it shows the message of invalid unit! what is the default unit for the displacement result? is it meter?
      2. My second question is about how to measure the average velocity passing the specific area!. now i'm looking for the displacement of the object under the wind pressure . Thus i wanna know the average velocity of the wind applied on the surface of the object! the object is circular shaped, so i wanna know the average velocity on that surface is it any way to measure it?

If units are not specified, System Coupling uses a system that is similar to the International System of Units (SI), except that angles are measured in radians. Base units are used as the foundation for all other units. Please refer to Units in System Coupling

You can calculate the area-weighted average on that specific area to check the average quantity on a given surface.
