Hello Team,
I am facing an issue while performing transient flow analysis of VAWT. I defined two computational domain here one is of cylindrical shape and another one is of rectangular shape. Here VAWT is located inside the cylindrical domain and both are located inside the rectangular domain. Right now while doing setup I provided proper dynamic meshing with physical parameters like mass and MOI. Along with that I correctly defined various dynamic mesh zones as stationary and rigid body then also I am getting wrong results. As mentioned in the below picture the cylindrical computational domain was shifting its axis of rotation. I follwed standard path then also this error is happenening again and again.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

Asking in Mechanical won't help!Â
What position is the axis of rotation, and what is set as the VAWT axis of rotation?

Both the axis of rotation of VAWT in its design is Z axis and in setup as well it is same.

It's clearly not behaving as expected, so the likely errors are axis or you've added a translation effect into the motion.Â

Actually axis is same and in analysis type there is transient only.

So you're expecting to see the VAWT detach from the main mesh?Â

No, but irrespect to axis solution is there any other aspect should I look to resolve it. I am excepting the rotation of vawt within that cylindrical domain and not to change its rotational axis. But uptil now I didn’t clear about the mistake which I am making because of that this issue is occuring.Â

The VAWT zone is rotating about a point and axis. If that's the only motion set up and you're seeing the above the only setting that can cause it is if the axis is wrong. What is the centre point of the VAWT?Â
