Can Adaptive meshing be used with the Species transport model for chemical reactions (single phase) or is it only for Multiphase models (VOF , etc)

It can be used to refine the mesh on any value the solver is calculating. You'll need to define your own criteria, and I'd focus on gradient or a set volume fraction range as a starting point if you're trying to refine a flame or reacting front.Â
