SubscriberCase study: IM design used to compute the efficiency map using the Electric Machine Toolkit through ACT..
I set the parameters and run the simulation (exact set-up & parameters in the doc link below).
The simulation takes about 4 years on a laptop, shows a message that the sweep parametric analysis is done.
Then, the software should automatically plot a few graphs including the efficiency map. That is where I
get error messages. The error is attached. It says no solution found and Abnormal script termination (see screenshot). Any advice on how to fix this issue please?
Thank you.
Des Ryan,
This is how I set up the model/simulation (word doc): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kIp1bO_Prle0E9ZQsRQaMEfm_DuvLvSF/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=112540064050213013548&rtpof=true&sd=true

Ansys EmployeeLooks like this error message is pointing to the setup1, do you get the same error message if just run Analyze (without ACT)?

Ansys EmployeeHi Des, thanks for trying it. Looks like the issue is relating with Machine ToolkitACT. Please follow the steps from Maxwell manual, start from less parametric sweep and see if it will run. Then move on to the full parametrics.

SubscriberThank you. Unfortunately that is unlikley to point to the error. I have successfully run one of the shipped examples (parametric sweep using the machine toolkit) and this works correctly.

SubscriberI am trying to get my efficiency map too but unfortunately unsuccessful doing it. I would appreciate it if you help me with it by sharing the screen shots showing the ticked boxes .
Many thanks

Ansys EmployeeYou are running in version 2023R2, can you give it a try in 2025R2?
