SubscriberProduct: Ansys Discovery 2025 R2
License Type: Academic Campus License
Description of Issue: We are experiencing a licensing issue with Ansys Discovery 2025 R2 related to Enterprise‑level functionality (disco_level3). When launching Ansys Discovery 2025 R2, users are presented with three license options:- Pro (disco_level1)
- Premium (disco_level2)
- Enterprise (disco_level3)
After contacting our Ansys representative, I was informed that enterprise‑level functionality should be included under our existing license and that the current license file, which does not list disco_level3, is correct. I was subsequently directed to the forums to inquire whether there is a technical reason or workaround for the observed licensing behavior.Thank you, -

Forum ModeratorHi,
Can you please share the full name of license you have or else check if it's visible over here ProductToFeatureMap-2025-06-11.pdf.
Let me know if it shows disco_level3 as included for your license. -

Forum ModeratorHi,
Thanks for sharing the name of the license, this license only includes discovery pro (disco_level1) and premium (disco_level2) increaments.
You can try using an alternate license which will allow you to use enterprise level functionality.
Launch your Discovery application> File> Settings> License and have the below setting, make sure "Check for lower license if requested unavailable" is turned off (not in blue colour).
