I am trrying to run Ansys Aqwa co-simulation system with Ansys rigid dynamics as available in AQWA solver. I am following the same procedure as mentioned in the Ansys Aqwa user manual 2022 R2 section 8. My aim is to run a fully coupled aero-hydro analysis by designing a floating platform in Ansys Aqwa and get the aerodynamic response from the aerodyne module. But I am getting the following issue
How to correct this and proceed with simulation.
Thanks -

Hello,
The Aqwa-Rigid Dynamics cosimulation uses the Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI) standard for the coupling between the two solvers (Functional Mock-up Units, FMUs). FMI requires a controller to manage the communication between the FMUs, and in our case we use Ansys Twin Builder for this. Therefore you will need to have Twin Builder installed (this is not part of the Mechanical installation).
If you believe this is already the case, please confirm that you have an environment variable ANSYSEM_ROOTNNN=C:\Program Files\AnsysEM\vNNN\Win64, where NNN is the version number (e.g. 222 for Release 2022 R2).
I hope this helps!
Mike

No, the above environmental variable is not there. I don't know how to download Twin Builder or how to add it to the existing workbench module.Â
