      My kid is interested in modelling solar Panels can anyone please tell me what software she needs to download ? Thanks

      What does she want to model? Ie structural rigidity, flow over, electrical things etc? 

      A good starting point may well be the Intro courses in AIS Learning (left side tool bar) to see what's available. She's also very welcome to sign up and ask herself!
