Hello there,
Recently I have shifted my CAD to Creo 8.0 from Creo 5.0.Â
For the older version I had linked Creo with ANSYS Workbench so I can directly import the models into Workbench environment. This setting I have accomplished using ANSYS CAD Configuration Manager.
Now when I repeat the same process for Creo8.0, the configuration fails and I cannot see any ANSYS 2022 R2 tab in Creo. When I check for errors, I see a lineÂ
"Unable to detectCreoVersionFromFile"
Does it mean that I have purchase any additional PlugIn ?
Thanks in advance.
best regards,
Saad

Hi Saad, if you have a plugin license for Creo this should work.
https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v222/en/ref_cad/cadWindows.html
As per the link above Creo 8 Plugin requires version 8.0.3.0 and requires Windows 11 Version 21H2 or higher.
Please check if you have these things. Also, If you have commercial license, can you open a new support request on portal?
