      Hello,

I am facing the error as stated below in the picture. I did everything mentioned in the following threads:

      /forum/forums/topic/ans-scenegraphchart-scenegraphaddin/

      /forum/forums/topic/error-with-workbench-scenegraphchart/

I have installed ansys 2019r2 , ansys 2019r3 and ansys 2020r1 one after the another to see if any of them works. I have got the same error in all three of them. The given picture is of ansys 2020r1. Please help me

I have Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 with the latest drivers installed.

I don't know what a ".err file" means. Please explain

Under your ANSYS installation directory (e.g., C:Program FilesANSYS Inc  or  C:Program FilesANSYS IncANSYS Student) , see if you have install.err file there. If so, post the content of it.

      Also, post the output of

      set

      command, from CMD Prompt.

      This looks good.

What about the output of this command

      dir /s "C:*scenegraphchart.*"

Also, open up Dxdiag and post screenshot of System and Display tabs here

Hmm, things look good here too.

Do you have any pending Windows update ? If so, please install all Windows update.

Also, you can try updating the integrated Intel graphics driver.

I had a pending windows update. I updated it and ansys started working. Thank you for the help.

      That's great !!

      Thank you for the confirmation.

If you don't mind sharing the exact updates that you had to install on your machine to make it work, it'd be very helpful for others who have the same systems/Windows updates. On the Windows Update page, click Advanced options -> View your update history  . This will show what you have installed and when.
