SubscriberHi, I am trying to model a very basic T-pylon structure. I have to apply 0mm displacements in the x, y, and z directions and also apply fixed rotations in all axes for it to be able to solve. But when I solve with these constraints the total deformation is equal to zero and so is the total bending moment no matter what size of force i apply on the sturcture. But if i try take away the displacements and fixed rotations i get the following error:
"An internal solution magnitude limit was exceeded. Please check your Environment for inappropriate load values or insufficient supports. Â Please see the Troubleshooting section of the Help System for more information."
"An internal solution magnitude limit was exceeded. (Node Number 40, Body SYS\Beam (Circular Tube), DOF UY) Please check your Environment for inappropriate load values or insufficient supports. Â You may select the offending object and/or geometry via RMB on this warning in the Messages window. Â Please see the Troubleshooting section of the Help System for more information."
The images shown are the constraints I have to apply in order to solve the errors and the results that i get from that are also shown. how do i fix this?

Ansys EmployeeHi
You need to use shared topology in Spaceclaim or multi-body part to connect the two beams at the T.
See this video in detail on how to mdoel beams/frame structure

All the best
