There is a graphics render error occurring from ANSYS AIM 2020r2 on a simulation run on a machine equipped with NVIDIA Quadro P2000 and a machine equipped with NVIDIA Quadro M2200. Both graphics card drivers are up to date. I do not see these specific cards as part of the "Tested Graphics Cards" document.

Hello Jchokan
At what stage are you getting the error?
Can you share a snapshot of the error?
Are you seeing this error with a specific project or with all projects?

February 4, 2021 at 7:02 pmjchokanSubscriberHello, I have attached a snip of the error that has been occurring. We are noticing these graphical errors on machines with NVIDIA Quadro series cards (P2000, M2000, M2200). The simulation is running, and values are being computed, but clicking on the results section and contours will make the design disappear.

Hello Matt Madore
Do you have any suggestions to overcome this graphics render issue?

Naresh Patre Hello,
I have disabled Rapid Results and reran the simulation and it did not give me the error this time.
Do you mind explaining what that setting does? Since it is toggled on by default.
Thanks for the help!

Hello Jchokan
Glad to know that the issue is resolved!
Rapid results or Exploratory results are those results which are automatically created and get displayed as soon as you click the Results task. You get a preview of some preliminary, lower fidelity results that is available immediately upon solving physics. These are highly interactive results that are available for a sub-set of typical variables and allow you to quickly identify and view areas of interest before creating higher fidelity results.
