Hi all,
I desperately need to use the Edit Mesh > Pull(Extrude, Revolve) feature in Ansys Meshing, I've got the Version 2021R2 available at my workplace. How come it does not show up when I click Mesh Edit > Insert although it is mentioned in the users guide for my version ? Have I missed something ?
Kind Regards -

Hello Sampat,
that is precisely the problem. The Option for 'Pull' does not even appear in the drop down list...

Hi Lucas,
Thanks for the information. As far as I can understand, you can view the mesh edit option but the pull option doesn't highlight there.Â
Are you able to see the Mesh Edit and pull options as I have highlighted in the image, please check.Â
Will you please reseat the Ansys Once, as explained below?Â1.Please clear the %appdata% in your system. To do this, Open a file explorer and type %appdata% in the address bar. Locate the Ansys folder and rename it to Ansys.old.
Go to the Start Menu and open %temp% folder. Search for ‘.ansys’ folder and rename it to ‘.ansys.old’ then launch the application.Â
2. Go to the Start Menu and open %temp% folder. Search for ‘.ansys’ folder and rename it to ‘.ansys.old’ then launch the application.
If the above method doesn't solve your issue, right-click on the mesh edit and show me the available options. Please share the screenshot of it.ÂRegards,
Sampat
