      Adaptive mesh is not available for ANSYS Explicit Dynamics system. It is available for ANSYS LS-DYNA system in Workbench for shell elements.
      You can find the keywords used for adaptive meshing in the following example or look for a workshop on mesh adaptivity from ANSYS LS-DYNA Training Course.
