How are AC copper losses for a motor calculated in ANSYS Maxwell when using solid conductor with current excitation. Also how to separate DC copper loss and AC copper loss?

      Hello,

The loss on solid conductor is defined as solidloss:

You cannot separate DC/AC loss in the simulation using solid winding, but you could do a separate simulation using 1 strand stranded winding to get the loss without AC effects in strandedloss.
