SubscriberI get this error message when I try to use the adaptive convergence method. Any idea on how to solve this?

Ansys EmployeeHi,
Will you please upload the screenshot of the error message that you got?
I have attached the following link that might be helpful for using the adaptive convergence method.

All the best!

SubscriberHello Sampat, thanks for your response.
I got only this exact message when I ran the simulation: “A failure occurred inside the mesh refinement module”.
Any idea on why that might be happening? And why the convergence did not work?
Thank you!
Lovéni.

Ansys EmployeeHi loveni,
Sorry for the delayed response. There may be several reasons for this error. Common reasons for failure in the mesh could be your model running out of memory because of the higher mesh refinement level. You should scope your mesh refinement tool to only the area of interest. Also, check the connection in the model and try to lower the pinball radius in the contact. I think this will help you to resolve the issues.
Regards,
