A FAILURE OCCURED INSIDE THE MESH REFINEMENT MODULE

When I am trying to do the automated mesh convergence study by using the adaptive meshing technique in Ansys 19.1, I am getting the error message as "A FAILURE OCCURED INSIDE THE MESH REFINEMENT MODULE". Did anyone else face this issue as well? What would be the possible reasons and how could I solve this? I would appreciate your help with this.

As a workaround, do the mesh convergence study manually.

      • Create a coordinate system at  the peak stress location.

      • Create a Body Sizing Sphere of Influence around the peak stress using the coordinate system above.

      • For the element size, you can click the P button to turn that into an input parameter.

      • On the maximum stress result, click the P button to turn that into an output parameter.

      • Double click on the Parameter Set box in Workbench.

      • Now you can enter a set of element sizes in the Design Table, and hit the Update All Design Points button.

      • When the solver finishes, you can plot the data.

Thank you so much for your great suggestion.

I will do it this way.
