SubscriberWhen I am trying to do the automated mesh convergence study by using the adaptive meshing technique in Ansys 19.1, I am getting the error message as "A FAILURE OCCURED INSIDE THE MESH REFINEMENT MODULE". Did anyone else face this issue as well? What would be the possible reasons and how could I solve this? I would appreciate your help with this.

SubscriberAs a workaround, do the mesh convergence study manually.Â
- Create a coordinate system at the peak stress location.
- Create a Body Sizing Sphere of Influence around the peak stress using the coordinate system above.
- For the element size, you can click the P button to turn that into an input parameter.
- On the maximum stress result, click the P button to turn that into an output parameter.
- Double click on the Parameter Set box in Workbench.
- Now you can enter a set of element sizes in the Design Table, and hit the Update All Design Points button.
- When the solver finishes, you can plot the data.

SubscriberThank you so much for your great suggestion.
I will do it this way.
