SubscriberHello,
I would like to consult with someone more experienced with Ansys fluent since it is my first project on it. I am doing 2D airfoil analysis and using 12.4 angle of attack and I am struggling to get reasonable results. For example here, as I understand the line should be totally straight, or is it acceptable to have it with small curves as in my picture since the lift coefficient value is fairly reasonable?
The second question is, if I change some details in my mesh because obviously, the problem is there, I get results of drag and lift almost the same as in the picture above but the scale is going up to 6, in other cases I have had also up to 50 000. So the question is should I concentrate on having only reasonable values in the plot as in the picture above or should not pay attention to this variation?

Forum ModeratorPlot some contours of velocity on the case you're not sure about, run another 20-50 iterations and replot the contours. What is happening in the flow? Compare those with the case(s) that are converging well.Â
