Forum ModeratorI closed the other thread to avoid any further confusion. Not a problem, but please don't do it again.
Ah, try launching Fluent from the Start menu. WB Fluent workflow/component cells are hard coded for certain functions: there is one for Fluent Meshing but you're generally better off not launching WB in most cases.

Ansys EmployeeCan you check the following file:
C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\install.logDoes it contain any errors for the 2024 R2 installation?
Also, try the following:
Run:Start->Programs->Ansys 2024 R2-> Product & CAD Configuration 2024 R2 (Right-click and choose Run as Administrator)
Choose Unconfigure Products and CADs
Select All.When Finished, then choose:
Configure Products and CADs
Select allAfter that is finished, check to see if Fluent is listed.

”C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\ANSYS Student\v242\fluent\ntbin\win64\fluent.exe” -r24.2.0 -shortcut
Does it open the Fluent launcher as seen belowIf running from Workbench Component Systems, are you choosing:
