Hi Sang.
Rocky does not export a traditional setup file like Fluent. Instead, the entire configuration is stored within the
.rocky project. To submit a CFD-DEM coupling simulation using Ansys Fluent and Rocky on an HPC cluster, you need:
- Files: Use the
.rockyfile and import on Rocky the Fluent.casand.datfiles using the 2 way coupling option. - Setup: Configure in Rocky, then submit. Rocky will launch Fluent automatically.
- Execution: Ensure both are installed and configured on the cluster. Rocky runs on the head node, limiting scalability.
To download the .slurm archive to submit the jobs you can access the Ansys Customer Portal (Current Release (ansys.com) and Download the Additional Package, there you will find the archive in the Job Schedulers Scripts folder.
2-way coupling Ansys Rocky and FluentBest regards.
