I am experiencing a similar issue with Ansys Student. I have resolved the critical error issue on Windows using: WIN + R > %appdata% > ansys\v2242\ProdConfig\uninstall_data.data and deleting this file.

However, I am now experiencing error messages at the end of the installation process. This is still occuring after refrshing PC. I have over 200GB of free space…
