I'd use Fluent. CFX is equally good, but Fluent's more common in industry and I've been using it a bit longer.Â
If the gases mix and can't stratify then it's species. If they don't mix at all (OK, more an issue for oil and water) or sort of mix but then stratify then you need a multiphase model.Â
