Hi JooJaehoon,
In Ansys Mechanical, face-to-face and body-to-body scoping of contacts refer to different methods of defining how contacts are handled in a simulation. For face-to-face contact, only the scoped faces are participating in the contact calculation. On the other hand, for body-to-body contact, all the external faces of the bodies in the model during simulation time will be automatically taken into account in the contact calculation. The main difference is that for body-to-body scoping you may experience that the model is computationally more expensive. My suggestion is using face to face scoping as much as possible if you know how the interactions would occur.
