Hi,
The crushing capability of concrete can be suppressed by setting the failure parameter fc to -1.0. When this is done, the material will crack whenever a principal stress component exceeds ft. This is particularly useful in situations where you want to model the cracking behavior of concrete without considering its crushing capability.
Please note that this is applicable when using the SOLID65 element, which is used to represent concrete and is capable of plasticity, creep, cracking, and crushing. However, it's important to remember that SOLID65 is an archived feature and may not be up-to-date.
