SubscriberHi,
I'm new to Ansys and I've designed a red blood cell using soldiworks and now I'm trying to mesh it. However, when I mesh it, the thickness (0.2 microns) of the structure doesn't seem to be correct. I'm using shell elements too Any ideas on how I can go about solving this problem? Thank you

Ansys Employee@Wazawaki nTurn off the thickness display and see the actual mesh on the surface. See if it follows the geometrynn

Ansys EmployeenI assume the lines are the geometry edges. Why are the edges away from the face? This might be a problem with the geometry. See if you can split the surfaces in solidworks and then try to mesh it againnViewing 3 reply threads- The topic ‘How to mesh curved structures’ is closed to new replies.
