Simulation was terminated by license error

      Hi Everyone,

      I am getting these errors and I am confused on how to fix them. Any help or guidance on the situation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

      nThe thread you sent only applies for those who have v19. As you can see in the attached picture I already have v20 so the forum you sent is no use. Sorry for the confusion. Do you have any other suggestions? Thanks!nn

      Hi Array,nAs you are using v2020R2, please check this option - go to Tools -> Options -> General Options -> Desktop configuration, then check the first box for enabling PPE license mode and do let us know if that works for you or not. nAll the best.nBest Regards,n

      nI no longer have access to the virtual computer and I am now trying to run the program on my personal computer. This is the error message I get when i try and run the program. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? Thank you!nnn

      Does your personal computer have a connection to the license server machine on the network, through a VPN or other network connection?n

      nI am not sure what you mean by this. I open CADpass R20 and APPgate before starting the program. How would I find out what you are referring to? Thank you.n

      You must have some connection to the university license server to access the licenses. Can you share the entire text of the error message?n

      Open a Windows command prompt and run ping a2.cmc.ca and provide the output.n

      If you are unable to ping the license server you will be unable to access the licenses. I recommend contacting the IT team who manage the license server to see if they are able to work with you to troubleshoot your connectivity.n
