SubscriberHello,
A previous colleague ran a multiphase MHD model with air and water in their domain. I ran the same model (same input data, same settings, etc) with very different results. I guess I am just interested in if turning multiphase off would make this much of a difference in the velocity outputs near the bottom of the domain (specifically in the x velocity component)?
Thanks,
Alex

Forum ModeratorPlease can you replot on the same scale? The u-velocity at 0.007 is about the same on both plots. nJanuary 7, 2021 at 5:33 pmJanuary 8, 2021 at 11:56 amRob
Forum ModeratorWe do sometimes see some differences as the multiphase turbulence models are slightly different to the single phase equivalents but it's not usually significant. How does the rest of the flow field compare? nViewing 3 reply threads- The topic ‘changes in velocity between multiphase and non multiphase model’ is closed to new replies.
