Strange deformation when applying variable load.

      Hello,

      I have the following geometry and when I apply a variable load the deformation gets insane.

      Do you have any suggestions ?

      turn on the 'Large Deflection' option in analysis setting. nn

      Hello and thanks for the response.nThe problem is that it never converges if I use large deflection !nI thought that it may have to do with boundary conditions but still.n

      Please check the boundary conditions if the model is properly constrained or not. Increase the number of substeps. Try solution small load to check if the error is due to higher load or insufficient constraints.n
