      Perfectly matched to what? n

The perfeclty matched layer is an artificial absorbing layer for the wave equationsnn

You mean a damping layer? In theory it should be possible with source terms, how you figure out the damping function isn't something I can answer. Note, if they're water waves there's a numerical beach model in Fluent. n

In reality they are pressure waves. I try with the general non reflecting boundary conditions but I don't see any improvements when I apply it. So I'm asking if there are other solutions.n

If the boundary is affecting the result the easier approach is to move the boundary. Using numerical methods is an aide, not necessarily a full solution. n
