I need to know if Maxwell can be used to simulate silicon carbide semiconductor nanodevices on the university version of the software. If this is possible, I need detailed step-by-step instructions on how to do it please. Thank you for your time.n

Hi, nWhat do you want to simulate for semiconductor nanodevices? nIs it the performance characteristics of the nanodevice or external magnetics?.Regards,nNavyan

Performance characteristics (specifically switching speed and thermal conductivity).n

nMaxwell can't be used to simulate silicon carbide semiconductor nanodevices.nThough Ansys has tools for semiconductor applications, Unfortunately, none of our Semiconductor tools actually address device-level modeling/simulation. nyou need to start with and rely upon proper transistor models and characterization of circuits through SPICE prior to even using our analysis solutions.nnBest RegardsnNavyan
