SubscriberHi guys,
I'm working on the simulation of an airflow over a flat plate where I have to match measurements at several points. For that I'd like to start with the correct velocity profile in front of the plate. Is there a way to put a function as a velocity profile into a velocity inlet?
This is the velocity profile (rotated by 90 degrees). The dots are the measured velocities at several heights of the channel, the line is the calculated function:

Ansys EmployeeYou can do that either via UDF (DEFINE_PROFILE) , or Fluent Expression or just using a profile file which you can read into Fluent.nViewing 1 reply thread- The topic ‘Function as velocity profile in velocity inlet’ is closed to new replies.
