3D Layout design fails to load from 2023R1 archive on Student 2025R2.4

I'm working through the "HFSS 3D Layout — Getting Started" course,
Workshop 01.1 (Connector on Board Simulation), using the archive
      BoardESD6.aedtz from the HFSS_3DL_GS_2023R1_EN_WI1.0_SimFiles package.

Software: Ansys Electronics Desktop Student 2025 R2.4 (Build: 2025-11-06)

      Steps taken:
      1. Restored the archive via Desktop > Restore Archive
      2. Saved as BoardESD6.aedt in a new working directory

Result: The Circuit design "ConnectDT (Terminal Network)" loaded
successfully, but the HFSS 3D Layout design "3DL_ESDPCB" did not
appear in the Project Manager tree at all.

      Message Manager output:
"Unable to open some designs from the project file. This may be
caused by insufficient licenses or unsupported student version for
the types of designs in the project, or by a corrupted project file."

"Component 3DL_ESDPCB references design 3DL_ESDPCB which is missing.
It would be best to remove the component."

I have not saved over the file, per the warning shown.

Since the workshop files are dated for 2023R1 and I'm on 2025R2.4,
I suspect a version/kernel compatibility issue. Is there an updated
version of this workshop file compatible with 2025R2, or a migration
      step I should follow? Thanks.
