Chemical reaction of the discrete particle model

      I am trying to simulate the reaction of a nickel oxide particle with hydrogen gas, which forms Ni and water vapor. My question is which particle types should be chosen ? I have chosen multicomponent but not able to define nickel oxide and nickel as solid phase in the particle mixture

       I use the multicomponent particle type for liquid droplets containing multiple species. I have not used multicomponent particle type for solid particles, may be combusting is a more suitable particle type. I think it is used for carbon particles. If you use multicomponent particle type, you may need to assign it a mixture material consisting of nickel and nickel oxide but maybe combusting is a better option for your case.
