Can a 6‑turn winding be cut into single turns and connected externally?

I would like to perform winding fault simulation through 3D modeling. Specifically, I plan to split each PMSM winding (with 6 turns per group) into 6 separate parts, defining each part as 1 turn, and then connect them using an external circuit. Is this approach feasible? And should the resulting back‑EMF and torque waveforms be consistent with those of the uncut PMSM 3D model, or at least have very small errors?Figure 1 shows the original 3D PMSM model, Figure 2 shows the model after the windings have been split, and Figure 3 shows the external circuit connection diagram for the Phase A winding.
