I am trying to simulate 2D cylinder flow as shown on the follwing image.

Should i set these types of prolbem as 2D problem before composing geometry ?? (Right click on gometry tab on workbench, then click property and change analysis type to "2D)

If yes, are there any rules when writing UDF for 2D problems ??

I am using UDF for 3D cylinder problem and it worked in 3D problem. But, it didn't work well when solving 2D problem for the same cylinder.

      Yes.

Yes there are rules for things related to volume and area especially if axis-symmetric. The customization manual is good resource for that.

Anime, thak you so much for your comments.

I have one more question. Should I solve this problem introducing axis-symmetric boundary condition at central axis ??

      Best regards
